OH MY GERSH I LOVED THIS SO MUCH!!! Ok so, though set in a post apocalyptic
world, which most stories like that are usually dark and grim, you guys
managed to make an adorable and charming story! I’m not sure if you guys
got awards for this but if so you guys totally deserved them! I give this
1000 out of 10! Good job guys! :)

  18. Jason Alcatraz on October 4, 2015 at 6:53 pm

When I just started watching this, I literally thought of a Human Version
of Wall-E…. a gruff, older version of Wall-E.

But hands down, no joke, this was an awesome short film and honestly…
really cute… not something you expect from a post-apoc themed movie! The
acting was great despite having no dialogue, the story itself is very well
executed, the amount of love in the set and detail of the costumes was
OUTSTANDING, and even at the end when the two meet, it’s executed in a
fashion that doesn’t feel clicheic at all.

All of this is done with no dialogue what so ever, which makes this all the
more awesome to watch. And let’s not forget his funny as all hell berserk
rush at 6:27. I DON’T KNOW, BUT I FREAKING LOVE IT!!!

Also, one of the best things about this film was the music. Instead of
giving us very eerie and creepy or loud and thrashing music, we were given
cheery and creative tunes that gave this a much more friendly feel to it.
However the times when things did get scary or dramatic, you did change the
music in a way that didn’t feel too random or rushed at all.

Seriously, 10/10. This movie rocks. The only thing I wish is that it was a
bit longer. But for a 13 minute film that does everything right, who the
    hell is complaining about that?

An interesting allegory for the potential of second chances, even at the
end of the world. Predictable that the stranger would be a woman, but it
fit the intent and didn’t take me out of the story. Light hearted but
touching. Some continuity discrepencies, but minor issues considering. Well

I have been watching and reviewing a lot of post-apocalyptic short films
recently, and I can easily say that this has been the best so far. The film
is so elegant in the way it presents the scenario. MANY apocalyptic films
show the dark and sad side of being in a ruined world, but this film gives
a lighter, funny, amusing side. It reminded me of the movie WALL-E. Its a
film you can smile at, especially with the work of the great actors in this
film. It is well written, greatly produced and I definately wanted to show
it to my friends, and share it with others. So job well done! And as an
aspiring filmmaker and producer, I can say this has inspired me and given
me lots of tips on making great short films.

  51. Jim jam on July 8, 2015 at 7:28 am

    This wasn’t very great,

extremely slow paced, even for an apocalypse short-film

wasn’t even a short-film. This film lasted an entire hour!

    terrible acting

    love/death story no cares about

weapons that anyone with an IQ of 3 or above could tell were fake.

I liked this a lot. Nice and lighthearted take on the world after an
apocalypse, it is not gloomy and dark like other shorts. Good to see that
plants are coming back and there are others alive! Left me very happy. The
camera work is excellent and the soundtrack suits the movie well. Keep it
    up Little Dragon Pictures!

I wonder if by judging from the Music box he uses to get to sleep that when
the apocalypse happened he was still a little kid, and only had a few
people to help him grow up and survive (obviously they’re gone now) and
with so few people he didn’t know how to interact with anyone and thus
    feared them

    […] good
    – for ’em two […]
It would appear to me that all of the malevolent, motorised gangs have long
since eradicated the other in their own post-apocalypse…anti-apocalypse.
Perhaps, the two here were once fuming supercharged, dieseling members
themselves at enmity…now finally, at common terms,
    Very nice big-sky country…

Do you know what 90% of YouTube films and most Hollywood movies lack
nowadays? The ability to laugh at their own premises and have fun with it
no matter how grim the subject matter. Any movie that doesn’t have at least
one moment relieved by humor is no good, ever. This was funny throughout
    despite what it was about.

An interesting short film, but i hope people realize that a full beard
would not create a seal for that mask. You are just walking around
breathing the same air as what’s outside of the mask…might as well take
    it off !

Wonderful example of having a post-apocalyptic film without the violence or
survival output. Just one guy showing show to another survivor.

  177. ThePyro on October 19, 2014 at 9:08 am

i had just finished watching yet another not very great short film (all
that remains, it was okay but the acting could have been better) when i
looked into my suggestions bar, in the bar i found 2 that caught my eye,
this and echoes. Im glad i chose this, it was great.
